A green leaf-shaped abstract design on a white background evokes the professional touch of a skilled vet. The jagged edges and smooth curves resemble stylized natural foliage, reminiscent of the care and nurturing environment found in a veterinarian's practice.

Pets can be unpredictable, and you can’t plan for unexpected illness or injury. We understand that having a sick pet can be stressful, and you want them to feel better as soon as possible without a long wait at the emergency hospital. That’s where our urgent care services come in. What is veterinary urgent care? Veterinary urgent care fills the gap between primary care and emergency care, addressing urgent ailments that aren’t life-threatening. Urgent care services are offered during daytime and extended evening hours, allowing pets to be seen the same day without waiting until the next day—or next week—for an appointment with their primary care veterinarian. Urgent care services help prevent overload in primary care and emergency hospitals, so each pet and client get the time and attention they deserve. A green shield icon with a white checkmark at its center, resembling the assurance of a trusted vet, symbolizes security or approval. A simple green square with a jagged top right corner resembling the silhouette of stairs, reminiscent of the path a determined vet might climb on their journey to becoming an esteemed veterinarian. A black and white cat with yellow eyes is lounging on a gray, fuzzy perch, looking curiously to the side as if anticipating a visit to the veterinarian against a plain background.

What conditions warrant veterinary urgent care? Sometimes pets develop conditions that require prompt treatment, but aren’t considered life-threatening emergencies. These conditions may cause pain or discomfort, worsen over time, or progress to an emergency if left untreated. Emergency facilities see patients according to condition severity, so medically stable pets with relatively minor conditions often must wait hours to be seen. Our veterinary urgent care addresses outpatient, non-emergent issues, including:
  • Cuts, wounds, and broken toenails
  • Ear infections
  • Urinary tract infections
  • Limping
  • Vomiting and diarrhea
  • Upper respiratory infections
  • Eye issues
A small, fluffy dog with light brown fur joyfully jumps in the air against a plain gray background, much to the delight of its vet. Its ears and tail are perked up, conveying a sense of excitement and playfulness under the watchful eye of its veterinarian.

Emergencies We See Our veterinarians are trained and capable in veterinary urgent care situations and can provide a high level of care for almost any urgency for dogs or cats. Occasionally, an emergency patient will need to be transferred to a hospital with an ICU once stabilized, or if they need overnight hospitalization. In these cases, we will organize the transfer and ensure your pet receives the best care possible. A pattern of varying sizes of green heart shapes scattered against a solid black background, reminiscent of a veterinarian's love for their furry patients. The hearts are distributed unevenly across the image, creating a playful and dynamic visual effect. A fluffy, orange and white cat with wide eyes peeks over the edge of a black plush cat bed against a soft grey background, perhaps contemplating its next visit to the veterinarian.
