Pet Wellness & Preventative Care
Longer, happier lives starts with routine veterinary care.

We believe in preventive and wellness care because it is the easiest and most cost-effective way to ensure your pet has as many happy, healthy years with you as possible.
Wellness Exams
Pets age much faster than we do, and they tend to hide symptoms of illness and injury as a matter of instinct. This is why we always recommend a physical wellness exam at least once per year for adult pets and then every six months for senior pets.
If you’ve recently adopted or purchased a pet, then we advise you that you book an appointment for their first examination within the first few weeks of ownership. Younger animals are very vulnerable to illness and this will allow us to make sure they have the vaccinations they need, reassure you of their health, and give us a starting point for their medical records.

Preventative Care
Wellness and preventive care also includes vaccinations, which are the most basic and inexpensive way to protect your pet from serious and even fatal diseases—some of which can be transmitted to humans. Our veterinarians will tailor a vaccination plan for your pet that’s based on their individual lifestyle, age, and health—not on what is available in the market. Parasite prevention is another cornerstone of wellness and preventive care. Fleas, ticks, and intestinal worms aren’t just annoying: they can cause significant health problems in pets, and in the case of heartworm, may even be deadly.
