Our havanese-schnauzer has been especially anxious about vets, groomers, and anyone that’s not us, actually, and that caused a few years of difficulty anytime she needed to be seen for anything. I’ve been going to Island Animal Hospital since it opened for the care of my Golden Retriever, Raleigh. The facility is brand new, very clean with a nice staff. Raleigh was just neutered, and the surgeon texted me every step of the procedure which was very reassuring. He was discharged right on schedule, with the discharge tech reviewing the instructions very thoroughly. He even called the next day to follow up to see how Raleigh was doing. I highly recommend this clinic.

Needed urgent care for our cat, excellent service. We had a persistent problem, and they gave us a better course of treatment. Not inexpensive, but given we had been fighting this for a while, we feel better that our cat is getting quality care.

Highly recommend taking your pet here! Very friendly staff! The vet performed an ultrasound and got to the source of her pain. Prior to my visit, I had seen 2 other vets that I felt dismissed my concerns. My poor kitty suffering…. I am so grateful for the wonderful staff and care provided for my beloved cat.

I went to request a health certificate for my dog, and Dr. Sharada has been extremely helpful in helping me obtain the appropriate document and help coordinate with the USDA in ensuring that all paperwork was processed on time. I cannot thank Dr. Sharada and her team enough for helping my dog 🐶.
